Scientific evidence behind published work

Scientific research, writing and fact-checking

Since June 2023, I have worked as a paid contractor on primary-literature research, scientific fact-checking and script development. Depending on the assignment, I write, co-write or review content, check claims against sources and adapt English-language evidence for Italian audiences, preserving terminology and scientific context.

Data analysis and visual production

My work includes collecting and organizing data, creating charts and maps, preparing slides and on-screen assets, and researching images. I also contribute to short-form content and selected thumbnail concepts or production, independently or in collaboration with the video editor. Responsibilities vary by project. I personally created the data visualizations in the AIRC reel collaborations that use them; the whole reels are collaborative productions.

Website design, build and operations

I designed and built entropyforlife.it in WordPress. Since September 2023, my work has included responsive design, publishing, configuration and functionality changes, OVHcloud hosting, DNS, SSL and technical SEO. This combines initial website delivery with ongoing responsibility for its operation.

Examples to inspect

The organizational work record links four representative areas: the website and infrastructure, the shark-attack map, analysis of great-white-shark length, and H5N1 source research and articles. These show different parts of the work rather than treating every contribution as the same task.

Published contribution record

The dated record lists contributions to 55 videos, four articles and 21 short-form pieces: 80 published pieces in total. Eleven selected thumbnail contributions overlap with these projects and are not added to that total. The record describes varying combinations of research, writing, data analysis and visual production.

Attribution

The linked work record is published on the Entropy for Life website, which I help manage. It is an organizational attribution record; project-specific credits describe shared work. Brand audience figures and channel-wide performance are not presented as my personal results.
