A practical tool for research-result workflows
A browser extension and separate Zotero plugin for research-result and reference workflows. I define product requirements, test behavior and manage AI-assisted development and releases.

Problem
Research-result workflows can make it difficult to distinguish a publisher-level signal from an article-specific notice. A tool must explain that difference and give the reader control. A publisher’s inclusion in a watchlist does not by itself establish that a particular paper is unreliable, retracted or scientifically incorrect.
Product ownership and implementation
Notandia continues MDPI Filter. I define the product requirements and evidence hierarchy, inspect matching and API behavior, reproduce failures and guide AI-assisted implementation. My work includes cross-browser and Zotero testing, documentation, release verification and deployment. Browser and Zotero sources are maintained separately.
Use in scientific production
I created Notandia to support my work at Entropy for Life, where my team uses it during scientific source review. In my experience, the warnings help us notice issues and avoid repeated manual checking. This use is confirmed by me on 2 October 2026; I have not measured time savings or quality improvements independently.
Browser releases
Notandia 0.1.1 was released for Chrome on 3 October 2026; I tested the build. I confirmed the updated Edge package on 4 October 2026, when listing artwork and description were awaiting approval. Firefox 0.1.2 is publicly downloadable on Mozilla Add-ons, verified 7 October 2026. Store availability does not establish feature parity across platforms.
Evidence and interpretation
Use the canonical browser repository to inspect the current source and release notes. Follow the separate store links to check what is actually distributed there. The expanded source includes publisher context and formal-notice workflows, but a notice’s type and source matter: a correction is not synonymous with a retraction, and either still requires reading its scope. This portfolio does not certify complete detection or make a paper-level verdict.
Availability
Chrome: Notandia 0.1.1, updated 3 October 2026. Edge: updated Notandia package confirmed by me on 4 October 2026, when listing description and artwork were awaiting approval. Firefox: Notandia 0.1.2, public listing and download verified 7 October 2026. Mozilla reports that the version passed automated screening; it remains subject to later human review. Browser development is tracked in the canonical Notandia repository. Zotero has a separate source repository and its own releases. Check the relevant release before installing; no cross-store feature-parity claim is made.
Research workflow design
The browser source supports publisher context and formal-notice workflows; the Zotero source focuses on item and reference detection. I distinguish publisher-level context from article-level evidence and test matching behavior to reduce ambiguous results. The source and release links above establish which version is available; development capabilities should not be assumed to exist in every store build.

Claim provenance
Created Notandia, an AI-assisted research-workflow extension released for Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
Chrome 0.1.1 released 3 October; counts include legacy use. Edge package confirmed 4 October; artwork and description pending then. Firefox 0.1.2 publicly downloadable, verified 7 October 2026; automated screening, later human review possible. Separate Zotero releases; platform parity and usage unverified.
